Painting & Decorating

Dry lining and dot + dabbing

Fixing plasterboard to a wall, which gives you a smooth finish to wallpaper straight away. Skimming with plaster afterwards is recommended to achieve a nice smooth finish for painting.

Plaster Skimming

Skim plastering used to plaster a wall with a layer of thin coat and is usually applied to a wall with existing plaster, in order to smooth the surface area.

Artex removal & scimmed smooth

Artex is a textured surface usually on ceilings, this is scraped off. Ceiling prepped and then skimmed for a smooth finish.

External Plain faced render finish is a flat smooth look.

Pebble dashing is a finish that is achieved by applying render to a scratchcoat. Then coloured stones are applied that stick to the wall.

In the event of excessive water damage, the old ceiling will be removed, new plaster boards will be fixed into place and plastered.

All interior walls & ceilings. All woodwork can be painted with your choice of emulsion and gloss.

All exterior paintwork, masonry, wood window frames painted, varnished.

Give the exterior brickwork & rendering a fresh coat of paint. We use a local family run scaffolding business to ensure all health and safety measures are put into place.
